About the Author
Alessandra Oddi Baglioni, after a long managerial career, has been devoted for years to historical Roman writings. Today she is celebrating not only the ancient family who gave birth and glory to her ancestors, but also the splendour of the city of Perugia, which had its apex between the end of the Fifteenth and the beginning of Sixteenth century, when Perugia contended with Florence the supremacy for political importance and artistic glamour.

This book uncovers the fantastic world of the Italian Renaissance and of the Raphael`s passions. It is a virtual visit of Perugia and Florence with magnificent images of the landscape and of the marvelous towns of Italy. The scene of the wedding party gives us a vivid flash of the real life in Italy in the Renaissance period.
Starting the story with the massacre, taking place during the day of the celebration of the marriage it is an impressive construction of the plot.
A family vengeance it is at the center of the story which involves also the Borgia, the Medici and Pope Giulio II
